The RFW 4000 GSM/GPRS Modules expands the DS 6700, DS 6750 and DS 7700 transmission devices with a second transmission path over 2G, 3G(UMTS) or 4G(LTE). The modular design allows subsequent addition to transmission devices, so that existing installations can be upgraded in a cost effective manner.
Depending on the programming of the intrusion alarm panel or the transmission device in stand-alone operation, alarms, messages and routine calls can be transmitted to GSM or IP networks. This enables an application even without wired transmission paths. Remote access / remote parametrization is supported depending on the connected panel type. For good 4G transmission two antennas for housing installation are included. With good receiving conditions the operation with a single antenna is feasible (programmable).
