AIS-GALD1 Galvanic Isolator
Galvanic isolators are required for conventional "EEX ia" intrinsic safety sensors and buttons. They are mounted in a safe area outside the explosive zone.

Galvanic isolators have maximum 5 detectors per zone and maximum 300 meters of cable from the barrier to the last detector.
