Loop Diagnostic Tool

The POL-200-TS loop tester is a versatile measurement and analysis tool that assists technicians with the installation and maintenance of fire detection systems. The POL-200-TS recognizes all addressable loop elements with the CLIP/OPAL/ADVANCED Notifier, Morley IAS, System Sensor and Honeywell protocols. In addition, the loop tester is portable and easy to use so you can work loop by loop before the panel is installed from any location on the loop. The device is simple, graphical touch screen with user-friendly icons and clear, automated, one-touch functions. It can even be used while wearing gloves. The mapping function, uses the device isolators to check the loop cabling topology and map the loop. On the screen it is possible to see the production date and detailed information of detectors, inputs and outputs. Similarly, one can read the status of equipment or even detect internal equipment faults. The log function generates a data fi le including information regarding the status of each loop device. It allows accurate control of system operation through the loop and device status report to anticipate and record equipment maintenance tasks. The loop display clearly identifies the equipment type, position and number of loop components.
