Overview

Triple-IR Flame Detector (Ex)x3301 is pressure-proof, fully enclosed multispectrum infrared (MIR) flame detector which distinguishes itself through reliable operation in difficult conditions. It provides unsurpassed detection of fires from light to heavy hydrocarbon fuels combined with the highest degree of false alarm rejection. The detector has Division and Zone explosion-proof ratings and is suitable for use in indoor and outdoor applications. The X3301 contains three IR sensors with their associated signal processing circuitry. An integrated LED and three relays provide information regarding the state of operation, failure, and alarm. Contamination resistance and heated optics to prevent condensation and formation of ice also allow for external operation. Typical areas of application are turbines, petro chemistry and the automotive industry. Monitoring on the loop and resetting via esserbus transponder 808623. Monitoring of a conventional line via the same transponder. This device requires a separate voltage supply of 24V DC.
