The DC to DC converters generates 24 V as power supply for special detectors. The input voltage of 12 V is taken from the fire alarm control panel or an external 12 V power supply. These modules are mounted inside the fire alarm control panels and the modules can supply up to 4 special detectors with a maximum current of 125 mA each or 1 special detector with 500 mA.
