Aspiration reducing film sheets are required for smoke-extraction openings. The foils are for tapering the drill holes in the intake manifolds and prevent any increased development of noise in the operation of the aspirating smoke detection system.

Aspiration reducing film sheets are required for smoke-extraction openings. The diameter of the smoke extraction opening is printed on the smoke extraction reduction foil. For uniform detection across all smoke extraction openings, the opening diameters should be selected according to the specifications in the function description.
